The LUGIRO Project

The project has three main pillars: Mechanics - Automation - Music
The mechanics use pneumatic equipment to perform motion to simulate human behavior with an ordinary analog guitar. The digital automation system controls the pneumatic system to perform coordinated sounds. The digital automation system uses already known rules for cords, scales and rhytms.
Based on well known game rules and a kind of improvisation, digitalization and machine learning the robot will compose and perform new melodies.
